I'm a self-proclaimed ALOE VERA GEL GAL. I love aloe vera for it's versatility and accessibility; you can almost say for a gardening family like mine that it's good as free!
I understand that good size of pharmacy aloe vera is only 2-300 pesos or 6 dollars. It's not much, so why be inconvenienced with this preparation? It's because this natural concoction, like I mentioned before, cost almost next to nothing. The second reason is an important one too; no two skin is exactly alike.
I hope you can check out my VLOG in Youtube on how to prepare this Antiaging Aloe Gel:
So what are we going to need?
1. A freshly harvested or "fresh" from the market aloe vera. It's up to you how much you want to make. Just know in advance that this concoction can only last 3 weeks maximum.
2. 3 drops of your choice of oil, like argan, orange, tea tree etc. It's up to you.
3. Vitamin E capsule. Use whatever brand you like...but WARNING; just in case you don't have the regular Vitamin E, don't use fish oil capsule. Like me, you'll end up smelling like Nemo out of the Ocean so you'll have to take a shower. And that includes the Aloe Vera gel in your skin and hair. What a waste!
Mix them altogether to make a gel. Refrigerate up to 3 weeks or less. This is a handy Aloe Gel you can use whenever you went out of the sun and your skin is flushed. Even if your skin wasn't flush, and you spent enough time under the sun to make you sweat, well girl, always have this gel at hand to minimise the effects of sun damage, sun burn and wrinkles.
Aloe Vera gel is deeply moisturising to the hair and skin. It has natural anti-ageing properties as well. It's gentle on the skin and is a non-irritant. You can avoid pimples and acne, as well as try erasing those pesky stretch marks which 90% of women worldwide have.
So that's why, this wonder plant has a special place in our home. It's located in a different part of the house now unlike before because we are doing our general cleaning in preparations of Easter Sunday.
According to Wikipedia, Easter or Resurrection Sunday, is a festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c. 30 AD.
So guys, check it out and save a buck or two. Organic is always the best.
