Antipolo Cathedral this Holy Tuesday

"The special prayer either before or after the Tuesday evening meal is a selection from Psalm 21:13-22, in which we see through the eyes of David the picture of Christ suffering for us on the Cross.
Many bullocks surround me; the strong bulls of Basan encircle me. They open their mouths against me like ravening and roaring lions. I am like water poured out; all my bones are racked. My heart has become like wax melting away within my bosom. My throat is dried up like baked clay, my tongue cleaves to my jaws; to the dust of death you have brought me down. Indeed, many dogs surround me, a pack of evildoers closes in upon me; They have pierced my hands and my feet; I can count all my bones. They look on and gloat over me; they divide my garments among them, and for my vesture they cast lots. But you, O Lord, be not far from me; O my help, hasten to aid me. Rescue my soul from the sword, my loneliness from the grip of the dog. Save me from the lion's mouth; from the horns of the wild bulls, my wretched life."

I hope you can check out my Youtube VLOG about HOLY WEEK IN ANTIPOLO CHURCH;
After attending the mass in Antipolo City, I was a bit speechless and my adams apple hurt a bit by a tremendous effort of swallowing my tears in front of my fellow church goers.  And I quote from the bible "Rescue my soul from the sword, my loneliness from the grip of the dog. Save me from the lion's mouth; from the horns of the wild bulls, my wretched life."

Always be patient and kind. Never think you are the only one going through difficulties, challenges, hardships or tragedies you can give people a hard time left and right just because you feel it. Let's not forget that whatever we do...we are never alone. So never shame yourself in front of the Lord. The year 2016 has been a trying time for my family and sad to say, it continues.

This is not a religious or even a philosophical blog. Just know that we save ourselves whenever we try to do the right thing, instead of what is right for us. Decisions matter and they change lives. Your decisions matter, you matter. You change lives. So always make a conscious effort to do the right thing not just for you, but for everybody. Our decisions ripple through time and people. That's just how it is.

For all of us walking wounded out brave enough to gather the courage to smile and live decently in Christ through our Lord. Amen.

Have a blessed Holy Week to everyone.
