HOW TO GET RID OF SMELLY MAYONNAISE ON YOUR HAIR

Ever since I heard the original MARIMAR, the Superstar Thalia using Mayonnaise in her hair this beauty regimen never left my consciousness.  But how about the after smell???

I'll have to tell you back then, I couldn't wait to put my hands in a bottle of Mayonnaise! But after the treatment, I'll have to be honest that I did not repeat it again. I am one of those who have sensitive nose to bear with the "pain". LOL!

I hope you can check out my Youtube Channel about this topic as well.
Yes, your hair will feel softer, smoother and bouncier. Yes, you curls, like my sister tried before, will look better.

Yes, your hair will have more protein as if it's eaten a whole pound of steak...and yes - you will smell like hamburger...err Mayonnaise for a day or two!

Ughhhhhhhhh!!!

That'll  be too much for the hubby or boyfriend who has to put up with you and your burger . After all, hamburgers are best eaten and not to be smelled 24-48 hours.

What do we do to get rid of that Mayo-Smell, so we can fully enjoy this treatment not once but always?

Firstly, get your favourite shampoo as usual to clean your hair. Secondly, get 2 tablespoons of baking soda, and mix it to your shampoo to make a paste. Add water to the desired consistency. Thirdly, Tilt your head and apply the mixture directly from your scalp and massage to the tip. Lastly, try to use a deep conditioner for the whole process so you can further protect your hair after the treatment!

That's it!
Should you use this same concoction without the Mayo Treatment, the Baking Soda Shampoo as mentioned will clarify your hair for product build up, leaving it soft, bouncy and shiny!
But I'll have to be honest with you. Please do not use the BAKING SODA SHAMPOO every time you have a MAYO HAIR MASK TREATMENT at home. You see, baking soda or sodium bicarbonate does not mask odours but actually absorbs them. It can be a neutraliser for stubborn acidic odours like vinegar and that mayo smell.
On the other hand, it also have some abrasive properties to your hair, so if you use it simultaneously every time with the mask, the abrasive properties of baking soda can strip off the protein from the mayonnaise, therefore defeating the purpose of a Mayo Hair Mask.

So, when to use it? Use it when you have surprise visitors, meetings and trips, so you did not have an idea that you were getting out of the house in the first place. Use the BAKING SODA SHAMPOO TREATMENT in moderation, like, once a month.

Hope this helps for those urgent dates?!

Now girl, let's get one of 'em burgers! I got hungry with all this mayo talk LOL!
