More or less, here are some anecdotes from Ms. Joyce Alumno, President and Country Manager of Aster DM Healthcare.
Kindly leave the theatrics to 'yours truly' of course.
Were you one of those who coaxed your old mother in an overseas trip but you faced a health emergency? It turned out your mother's health is more delicate than expected and she had to be hospitalized abroad. No problem right? Except, you don't have her medical records. You are on vacation after all!
What to do next?
All those diagnostic tests had to be repeated to declare her already diagnosed condition - "just to make sure". Without those medical records, it's back to step one.
There is another choice for this OFW. With ASTER Medical and Diagnostic Clinic and their EMR or Electronic Medical Records system, their medical records from the Middle East can be easily relayed to the Philippines ASTER clinic and used easily by the Filipino doctors here. How convenient huh! It is also a life saving and a pioneering method.
When was the last time you went to the ER and found out you have to pay four to five times more compared to a regular consultation, only to be set aside by the triage nurse because your "fever" is not high enough?

It first made presence in the Philippines through it's non-profit arm, Dr. Moopen's (DM) Foundation, when it launched its "Save the Little Hearts" program that granted surgeries to children with congenital heart defects."
I have included Joneil's photo, the brave little kid here to ASK you to please LIKE the page because apparently, according to the presentation, 1 LIKE = 100 pesos in charity for the little angels of Save the Little Hearts. Thank you and God bless. Thank you Dr. Azad Moopen for helping Filipino kids with congenital heart disease.
Last but not the least, thank you to Mommy Lariza for the invite!
High five for reading guys!
live the sweet life,
Stay frugalicious y'all!
