BLOG 1: I'm a Commander-In-Cheap

What better way to grow that elusive wisdom than in the financial department? After all, a lot of us dig early graves due to our difficulties, misinterpretations, inefficiency, and often the lack of education in handling our money.  Lives get destroyed, good girls gone bad, families get separated, nations become slaves and the world make wars for the love of gold. they say, "Money is the root of all evil." OR IS IT REALLY???

As far as I am concerned, we can not stress anymore the need for budgeting and accountancy education in our schools, starting from the youngest of children to the still thriving senior citizens. After all, if money is one of the most sought after things in life, a common "key" to some of our happiness and satisfaction, and our comfort blanket in hard times, why shouldn't we then take the time and effort to conquer most money problems and fears, as early as possible.

I'm just another Pinay wife living "the simple life" in one of the many middle-class suburbs in the Philippines. I am leading a normal life with my first love turned husband Roy, a.k.a "bubbly hubby" in our mediocre house while holding on to our dreams. We have a super kawaii mascot and adorable pet cat "Luningning".  We hope to have kids in the future. Hopefully sooner, than later LOL!

The most amazing thing is, most of those who know us think we're actually "rich" than the average Pinoy. But what is rich exactly to the poor who affords only a measly meal a day, the single mother/commuter in a multi national company and a billionaire who takes baths in champagne?

This blog is all about money in our simple life, with all it's dirt and glory.  I share our knowledge with you as a gift of wisdom and also to express gratitude to Lord Almighty who never ceases to take care of us through richer or poor. I think for the most part, bubbly hubby and I are JUST plain disciplined with money.  Or come to think of it, at least we usually make an effort to.

As a DISCLAIMER, I am no money expert, nor do I pretend to be good in handling money. I am just another KUMANDER/commander on a budget, making ends meet while finding satisfaction in the notion that whatever we have, we are making the most of.

What I'll write here, I share in good faith, in order for you to lead happier, better and ultimately, almost stress-free lives. What worked for us, after all might work for you too. At the end of the day, we are just your average Pinoy Couple, "trying to make ends meet", while enjoying this "so-called life". LOL!

Nice to meet you dear reader, and I hope you come back for BLOG 2.

Thanks and Cheers!!!
